So, it’s write anything Wednesday. Well here I am, making a list of writing challenges, for me. I’m not quite sure what I’m made of, but I am willing to find out, make some mistakes along the way, and learn. Of course, this would all be perfect with an inspirational mentor, pushing me to stay focused, making me feel like Rocky Balboa. “You can do it”!!!
Alas, I have myself, and I have to be honest enough to ask the questions? Do you want to go the rest of your life and wonder what if? Or do you want to get busy, and start training your creative muscles, with different types of story telling and find out, just how far you can go.
My answer. . . . . . . .I want to know! So I need to start small. If you have any suggestions, please share. So, prepare yourselves, “short stories are coming”!!!

We’ve all heard of the tale
Of fairy god mothers
And magical pumpkins
And a young woman going to a ball
Yet, do we wonder
If those tales exist today?
With all that is wrong in this world
And individually, we feel so small
Alas, do not give us hope!
If the stars still shine, And they still do
Anything is possible
IF we just believe
Say, whatever you will
It does not matter the villain
Or the obstacle
The heart that is determined, will achieve
That which you scoff at
And say its to hard
No magic do you have
Or wand to make the big swish
But oh, I say
I have something better
I have a light to guide me
And my own simple wish

There she gazed
At her fears
Her doubts
And at everyone who told her to give up
She laughed
Cause now she didn’t care
This was her life
not theirs
Fierce and strong
The struggle made her
Perfect
In an imperfect way
Flashes of light
Illuminated through her heart
Her eyes
Even her very soul was brighter in the darkness
Long ago, to imagine herself here
Hanging her head down in disbelief
What power? What purpose does she have?
To become the storm
For she was it
Full of grace and life
A force you do not meddle with lightly
But watch as it unfolds and discover it’s story
It has been a fantastic journey here on WordPress and I have met a lot of nice people. I am a strong believer in helping one another on the way to the top. I have an idea that I hope will succeed w…

A moment, a time
To do everything right
With all that you have
And leave nothing left
Perhaps on the world’s stage
In a classroom
A national competitive event
Or maybe, just an audience of one
To be an athlete
Is not a requirement
Rather to be a human
Full of heart and hope
Ready to rise
And demonstrate with honor
Regardless of the event
We should all be going for Gold

So here I am, having myself a wonderful cup of coffee, the house is quiet, and I’m enjoying the silence as it is the most wonderful thing in the world. Sub-consciously, my brain is off on some elaborate holiday, that my current budget does not allow at this time. However, the reality is, I’m tired, and really just want to be lazy and do nothing. This is the main side effect, of being a Credit Analyst during your company’s most busiest time of the year.
Don’t get me wrong, I am very grateful to have a job, a boss that I like and enjoy working for, co-workers who make my days fun and interesting, but it has been challenging this month. I don’t know if the heat is to blame, or I just need to keep my focus on my goals. It just seems, that my intent to write anything, has dwindled. Of course, it could have something to do with the 500 plus emails, and reports I’ve been dishing out the last few weeks.
So here is my question to you. What keeps you motivated and inspired, when your daily job tasks take their toil? Is it okay to be a little lazy? Is it really more about quality, than quantity? Any ideas would be appreciated, since I have kept up with this fairly consistently since I started in February. I would be delighted to tell you that my going to the gym was the same. However, I think the gym has forgotten what I look like.
Thanks for any ideas, or nuggets of whimsy you can share, I guarantee, it will “ALL” be appreciated.
A list of tasks
That never seem to cease

I have longed for my love
Yet, does he long for me?
In a world full of illusions
And temporary charms
Does anyone yearn for the lasting
Love and friendship so unique
That whether sane or crazy
Their presence is sought
And needed
To remind us of the truth
In a world full of lies
That perfect does not exist
But rather a being
Perfectly broken
Who understands us
Even when we don’t understand ourselves
Temperatures keep rising
Whilst tempers keep flaring
Holidays have been sparkling
But I just want to be a recluse
Doing my best to be giving
While the world keeps on living
And a few are already hoping
That Summer comes to its end, soon

Loneliness
Is just a feeling
to remind you
when those that matter
are not near you
